Richard Rousselet's Belgian All Stars Quintet pays tribute to "the Sorcerer", from the late 40s, until the 90s, revisiting classics as well as rarely performed material. Their chronological re-reading of this ever-inspiring repertoire will take you from intimate acoustic moods to screaming and heavily-grooving heights. The quintet is composed of Richard Rousselet (tp, flh), myself on guitar, Michel Herr (p, keyb), Bas Cooymans/Sal La Rocca (b) and Bruno Castellucci (drs)

Sony Jazz recording artist Judy NIEMACK is a Master Jazz vocalist. Having mastered her beautiful instrument, both through Classical training (as a soprano coloratura) and as an instrumental-type Jazz improviser (she studied with tenor saxophonist Warne Marsh for six years), nothing seems impossible, or even challenging for her to sing. Over the already 14 years we have spent making music together so far, we have covered quite a lot of repertoire and styles, and I find myself perpetually learning and growing from each experience. Judy was my guest on my CD “Beauty and the Prince”, we were both invited by Lee Konitz on his “Rhapsody” vol. 1 & 2 projects, I was featured on her “Straight Up” CD, played on, and co-produced her “Night & the Music” CD, and played on and produced her most recent releases “About Time” (Sony Jazz), "Blue Nights" and "In the Sundance" (BLUJAZZ). Judy has a multitude of possible concepts, her repertoire consists of thousands of jazz standards, jazz masters compositions, many of which carry her own original lyrics, pop songs, French chanson, classical songs and even avant-garde new music, all usually re-arranged by yours truly. Judy has a dual career as performer and vocal jazz educator. So, this group is also available for clinics/workshops/master classes.  Her instant-hit book & CD “Hear It & Sing It! – Exploring Modal Jazz”, was published by Second Floor Music and distributed by Hal Leonard in July 2004.

Katalina Segura's (Puerto Rico) beautiful and romantic South American melodies, mixed with Jeanfrançois Prins' (Belgium) lyrical Jazz guitar playing, with a touch of Classical tradition, and discover a new dimension of what today's acoustic Latin Music can be. Their repertoire consists of a well balanced combination of boleros, tangos, pop songs, French chansons, and bossa novas. A truly fresh, sensual and flavorful experience! Different settings include Cello virtuoso Alban Gerhardt, bassists Cameron Brown, Bart Denolf, Johannes Gunkel and Marc Muellbauer, percussionist Uli Moritz, and a "Chamber Music" formula with Sébastien Walnier on cello and Wendy Ruymen on viola.

Meike Goosmann's original music is a very melodic and lyrical approach to improvised European music. Her compositions are all dedicated to different characters in her life. The quintet features Meike on soprano saxophone and bass clarinet, myself on electric and acoustic guitar, Julia Huellsmann on piano, Marc Muellbauer/Carlos Bica on bass and Uli Moritz on drums.

Berlin Jazz Orchestra: Berlin's swingiest Big Band, with Germany's new hot male vocalist, and yours truly on some nice features.
